Hello! Seems like forever since Ive been on my blog. I dont think I have that many readers so I'm sure the disappointment isnt much. :-)
Went out in service, long day today. I ran out of gas on my way to the service meeting. Never a good way to start the day. Especially when its 90 degrees and humid outside and I have a little boy in the back seat who decided to be cranky. Dad saved the day however. Brought us gas in time for me to be very late to the meeting. So late in fact that they were gone. But, I ran into them at the gas station. A group wouldn't have worked anyway with me and my kiddos and them in their car. Someone would have had to ride on the roof. ( I know....I thought that would be fun to) So I got a group together and we did calls and territory. Had a pretty successful day.....well, successful if you count the roads we scouted out in my new territory. My new territory mind you that is 80% ACTUAL ATV trails. Anybody up for ATV witnessing??? Heck yeah! Oh my that would be so fun wouldn't it?? We did ice house witnessing in Rice Lake, why not trails around here?? Anyhow, I digress.... Sarah got a good call. Thats always exciting. After- we worked out.... hahahahahaha... It was terrible. We sucked. But we did it. We both felt so good and motivated when we worked out together regularly so we are starting again. 6:30am Mon, Wed and Fri. I am fully prepared to be the work out nazi again. Ive decided to train for a long run coming up in October. So between working out with Sarah and my own running we will see what happens.... In all my spare time that is.

Went to Sarah and Mikes for dinner and than some friends stopped over at my house and chatted for awhile.

The kiddos are in bed and Im off to finish my bible reading. Love and miss everyone!!!!!
Erin I hope your new house is perfect, I cant wait to come see it on Wed.!!!
Just got home a bit ago. Picking up my babies, I didnt realize how much I missed them until they came running out to see me. I swear they have grown up in just a week. Linkons talking about everything and Purdee seems like a nine year old. I see them and realize that they arent babies anymore. They are little people who are growing up way to fast. I couldnt be more proud of them.

I had such an amazing weekend. It ended to soon. The convention was breath taking. The best one i have ever been to. I was moved to tears each and every day. The burning excitment inside you with bubble over knowing how close we are to the end of this horrible system of things. And it so inspired me to keep working as hard as I can in the ministry. I have a lot of new goals that I plan on get started on right away!!! After the convention we went and stayed with Mikes family. This is an amazing family. Each and everyone of them is so special, so loving. I felt more relaxed than I have in a long time. It was so nice to actually spend time with my dear friend Laura. Until now she has mostly been a pen pal. I wouldnt re-do the weekend for anything. Where it leads.....who knows?

This next month is busy with service and moving into my new apartment. I got the three bedroom. yippee! Figuring out my painting buisness and living life. And Im excited to live it. Everyday is new, who knows whats ahead. I plan on working very hard, being very tired, laughing alot and dancing just a little bit, every day. :-)
Elijah

So this morning after I read my day text, I was reading a magazine. Theres the article in the July 1st mag called "He took comfort in His God" Everybody must read it. It was so wonderful my heart welled up as I read it. A few days ago a friend and I were talking about the great tribulation and what we can expect. She stated she was afraid. I agreed. After all, we all have our moments. But after reading this article there is no fear. Not a trace of it. Here Elijah had the wicked queen Jezebel after him. She had killed so many of his fellow prophets and Elijah thought he was completely alone. He ran for his life and was so low in spirits that he wished for death. Can you imagine? This man of such faith, so over come by fear. The article stated that if we want to maintain our courage, we cant dwell on the things that frighten us. We must keep our focus on Jehovah, the source of our courage and strength. Elijah ran for his life and was in the wilderness alone and depressed. (never a good combination!) He poured out his heart to Jehovah. I did find it encouraging that a man like this even found himself down. Look at the world we live in today - its no wonder so many of us get down from time to time. Or even severely depressed. But we can be like elijah and pour out our heart to God.

I loved that Jehovah sent an angle to Elijah and the angel fed him. Let him continue sleeping and than fed him again. Jehovah knew exactly what Elijah needed. No those meals didnt take his problems away but they sustained him. And after Elijah came to Mt. Horeb he was still down, so again he prayed to Jehovah. And Jehovah asked "What is your business here" But He posed the question in such a kind way that Elijah took it for what it was, an invitation to pour out his feelings. Can you imagine such a loving God, wanting know? Asking us to pour out our feelings to him. He wants to know what is inside each an every one of us. And he was so kind to Elijah. Elijah told Jehovah everything he was dealing with. He wasnt ashamed of his weakness or his imperfections. What a brilliant example. And Jehovah put on a miraculous display of His infinite power for elijah. And than do you know what Jehovah did afterwards? He again in a calm low voice invited Elijah to express himself. Can you imagine? The concern Jehovah had and the understanding of what Elijah was going through. It makes me awestruck. The article reminded me of Jehovahs limitless power to help us. And that no matter what we face in the future, we have Jehovahs backing. But so much more than that. We have his love. His love for you, for me. Can you imagine any ruler in this world being even a tiny bit concerned for one of its people? Jehovah could have just displayed his power to Elijah and said, "get over your fear, you know Im here"..... but he didnt, Think of the comfort Elijah was given.

Sorry. I love the truth so much. I love reading articles like this they get me so excited. So overcome with love. How blessed we all are to be apart of Jehovahs organization. To be at the fore-front of this work. And to have Jehovah limitless power behind us.
I was sick this morning, woke up with a headache and a lovely cold. After stumbling out of bed to go to the bathroom....mind you, not yet fully awake I looked ahead...only to see the biggest spider I have ever seen outside of the zoo or a horror movie.... I can handle the normal large spider. I often kill them for my mother or before Sarah sees them so she wont freak out. But this one stopped my breath. I called up to my dad to come here. Now, dad is also sick and his RA is terrible. So asking him to get up and come downstairs to my rescue is a big thing. He came down and grabbed a little wad of toilet paper to kill it (I chuckled to myself " he's gonna need something bigger than that) As I thought that, dad came back tracking out of the bathroom and asked where his shot gun was. SEE! I told you. Its body was so big. Leg circumference wasn't that large but the body was bigger than a nickle. And thats not including the head..... which mind you, was looking at me. It was...
Dad got a big ol boot and saved the day. We practically had to call in the police and chalk line around its huge dead body.

EEEEEWWWWW! Ok, Headed out again. Busy busy busy busy week ahead, followed by the district convention. I cant wait to get there and take in as much as Jehovah will give me! Is there any better place in the world than being surrounded by hundred or thousands of your brothers and sisters???
What a silly day. Brought my kids to their father in Esko and than went to meet the group for service. I was told to head out to Foxboro and meet a group there. Got there, met them, laughed, talked, it was lovely- only to drive twenty minutes away and realize we were headed back to town forty five minutes away from my jeep and wouldnt be heading back anytime soon. SO we drove all the way back to my jeep and I was sent on a lone mission to my studies house while the group went their own way. :-( But alas, it was ok. I met up with them later at the hall. whew..... My ten minute story for something I could have summed up in two seconds. Its pretty outside. Well, not really, but for this year it is so we'll take it right??

I have to go to a baby shower today. UUGG! I adore the lady who had the little girl and Im sure her baby is splendid but its saturday! My only alone day to get my crap done! After the shower I have to go trim hedges at the apartment and than I'm hoping to squeeze in a five mile run!!! SOOOOO need a run!!!!! Other than that I'm a free bird!!! wahoo!

Bean just pulled in, love everyone!!!!!

Been busy the past few days. Went to my study yesterday and she forgot she had doctor appointments so she wasn't home. bummer! I was excited and nervous! I spent the morning doing a lot of research on bible studies and trusting in Jehovah and what is truly required of a teacher....especially one who is still learning so many new thinks herself. Even though I didnt have the study I felt so close to Jehovah. Every day is feeling His love in my life and being so undeservedly blessed for it. Speaking of Jehovah, lets all pray for our brothers and sisters in Minot, ND. They are going through some terrible terrible flooding right now. My heart aches for each and everyone of them.
I spent a few hours in service this morning and than went to a painting job. Looks beautiful if I dont say so myself! And I had so much fun! I hate having to leave before the paint is dry though. I want to able to really inspect it and make sure my job was perfectly done. They seemed very happy with it. AACK! That sounds very juch like tooting my own horn....I promise Im not doing that!!! Just excited Im on my own with my own little business. (still cant think of a name though)

Now Im tired and going to hang at Sarah house. She is making a quilt for someone. A baby shower this Saturday and she is behind. So I"m off to cut fabric for her and keep her calm!!! Love and miss everyone!
Ok its insane outside today. The wind is blowing so hard the trees are practically bending all the way over. And as soon as they stand back up, they fly back the other way. Im enjoying the storm. If its going to be anything but sunny outside at least make it a great storm.
We are going to Jason and Pattis house tonight. My darling nephew has his first talk. To be honest a bit nervous about going, not to see Henry. Goodness, I adore him. But those kids look so much like Leah all I can do is sit and stare. Gorgeous kids. I can just see Henry now, up there all proud and standing tall with his goofy grin and big ol teeth. Leah would have been so in love. She WAS so in love with each and every one of them. Goodness I miss her.

Its freezing outside!!! I think summer forgot to come this year.
Headed out in service today. Looking forward to it. We had a talk yesterday about keepin awake in the ministry. So I've decided to make a bolder attempt at my return visits. Im always afraid of coming on to strong with them, but what if I'm not pushing it enough? Thats why I like listening to some of the regular pioneers at the door. They are so good at it. What they say flows and is polite but gets their point across. Obviously I have a lot to learn. And I'm eager to learn it. Hopfully they are patient with a block head like myself! :-)

Gonna go finish getting my kiddos ready. I hope everyone has a delightful day!

Just got back from a get together in our hall. A bunch of others came to. It was so perfect. I LOVE how close knit this hall is. You know how in big halls, you dont always get a chance to talk to everyone? Theres so many people to say hi to. Sometimes it feels like your just making the rounds. But here everyone is so involved. You have time to stop and talk with everyone. And you actually want to. I hung out with Bill Nelson today. A fabulous older brother in our hall. He is quickly becoming one of my favorite people. I could sit next to him and listen to him tell stories for hours. I felt like I was five. And the way he looks at you as he is talking, its like he is talking to a grand child. Such a loving brother. I felt so happy as I walked around and hugged and laughed with everyone. The hype that I have heard of Kims fish fry is definitely right on!!!!
Anyone study yet? The WT is so good. A lot of helpful information. And that box about our bro and sis in concentration camps. Astounding! See....we will be able to get through anything, even the camps if we end up in some. We have Jehovah and we have each other and our worldwide family. Together we can beat satan!!! And look forward to ample fish frys in the New Order..... you dont think Jehovah will do away with frying things do you? I shudder at the thought.
:-)
Played cards with friends tonight. I lost terribly. Not a good card player but dang is it fun. Just like bowling. haha I dont think I have ever bowled over a 40..... so if any of you think your bad just play with me and you will feel like a rock star!!!
Headin to do laundry....wahooo!
